Among the professional fly tying community,
the Rite Bobbin is possibly the most widely used of all bobbins due
to its versatility and quality.
Below are some well-known professionals
that swear by our product.

"I received your rite bobbins and I've gotten to use them already
in a couple of videos. I was really impressed. I like how you can set the
drag. They're really smooth and light. You can tell they are well made too."

"The Rite
Bobbin solved the biggest problem I was having in tieing bass bugs. It put
sufficient pressure on the bobbin (spool) so I didn't have to squeeze the
bobbing holder, which up until the introduction of the Rite Bobbin, was a
major nuisance. Having consistant pressure on the bobbin does allow for better
thread control and the result is a major improvement in controlling the material
which results in better flies."

When I began giving my first steps in this art, my teacher told
me some words which would be on my way forever, "Each person builds a very
simple life and it's always meaningful when that person is the one who leads
it". That's the moment when I realized that if I wanted to achieve some change
or to do something different, I would go back to the principles that the
teacher had taught me. Since then I began to fight with the hook on the
tying-bench, and after having the same movements, patterns and materials,
I began to experience that internal change that was born through my teacher's
words. Here is the key of the tie-fishing, it's learnt, achieved and capitalized
the materials creating diversity in each fly made. My realist patterns are
based on the main principles transmitted by my teacher: imagination is the
first one, capitalization and knowledge about the materials to achieve the
diversification in each model and have a deep study, as anatomic as
bibliographic, of the insect that is wanted to tie. To sum up, the key of
the fly-tying is found in each person and it's possible to experience and
develop passionately if somebody transmits it in this way. This is the reason
why I thank to my teacher and friend, Darío Pedemonte.

"Rite Bobbins
truely are the best. Tying realistic patterns is a little more challenging
when it comes to thread and material control.
You're bobbins give me one less thing
to have to worry about while trying to situate material. I have a total of
6 in my tool supply and will probably have more in the near future. Thanks
for a quality product!"

English: "I bought my first Rite Bobbin a couple of years
ago and it has been my favourite since then. It offers a control that no
other bobbin does. By setting the tension to a level just below the breaking
strength of the thread, it will allow for tight wraps without having to worry
about thread breakage during tying. The precise tuning makes this adjustment
just as easy for a 40 denier thread as for a 140 denier thread. It's truly
an entire set of bobbins, all in the same one."
Swedish: "Jag köpte min
första Rite Bobbin för ett par år sedan och den har varit
min favorit sedan dess.

"The Otter," may very well be the worlds foremost expert
on egg patterns. Although he ties all kinds of flies from large Stonefly
nymphs all the way down to #32 midges using his "rite" bobbins, Walt knows
more about the egg pattern than most anyone.
E-mail him or look him up at the Regal
Vise booth at the Fly Fishing Shows, where Walt is a very popular featured
tyer. You will definitely learn something!

"I converted
to the "rite" bobbin about 8 years ago, and have not looked back. As a commercial
tier, I can't waste time breaking thread and constantly bending my conventional
bobbin to gain the right thread tension. With the "rite" bobbin, there is
no thread breakage and once you set the tension it remains set until your
spool is empty. We sell hundreds of these bobbins every year, and everyone
that tries them loves them. I use the Mag and Cermag bobbins for saltwater
flies, and the Shorty and Standard when I tie freshwater patterns for myself.
The "rite" bobbins have been a great addition to my fly tying arsenal."

As someone
who has tied thousands of flies commercially, I have owned every bobbin
available.. Some were good, but most were poor at best. The rite bobbin was
the first that tool that actually impressed me. The rite bobbin makes it
easy for someone who wants to tie just a dozen or the commercial guy who
wants to tie a hundred dozen.
It solves the essential problem of
thread control with it's infinite adjustability and constant tension on the
spool. On top of that, it has the highest quality ceramic tube and fits your
hand like no other. Take it form a guy that's tied thousand of flies a year,
this product can't be beat!

I have been a fly tyer since age 10, a fly fisherman since age 12,
and a guide since age 18. I fish between 150 and 200 days a year, mostly
for trout with some steelhead, bass, and carp thrown in for good measure.
I have fished the waters in the Red
Lodge, MT area since 1990. Besides fishing, I also guided class V whitewater
trips when I was in my teens and 20's.
I still enjoy rowing big whitewater
for fun in the off season. You can be assured my rowing skills and safety
on the river are second to none.
