Merco Products is a small fly tool manufacturing company with a worldwide reputation. We use only the best materials to build the finest fly tying bobbins available. Our bobbins are made in the USA and we proudly add the official, "Made in Montana" label to every bobbin we sell. Our mission is to provide the highest quality fly tools to our customers at a reasonable price. Once you have had a "Rite™ Bobbin" in your hand, you will never want to use another!

HISTORY

Mr. Bill Merg, a German born and educated Manufacturing Engineer and master fly tier conceived the Rite™ Bobbin in 1991. After spending several years perfecting the design, Bill, with his wife Eva, began Merco Products in Sunnyvale, California in 1993.

The bobbins enjoyed rapid worldwide success, which continues today. In July 2006, the Mergs retired, selling and assisting new owner Lyle Graff move the business to Nye, Montana. Merco Products now lives at 9 Rio Vista Trail, Nye, Montana on the banks of the beautiful Stillwater River in southern Montana.
